What We Focus On Is What We See

When we work on something we tend to only see exactly that and the outcome of it. This tunnel vision doesn’t always serve us well. Especially when things may not have had the desired outcome.

One thing I learned is that things are not binary. Just because something didn’t have the desired outcome, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have done it. Perhaps your expectations were too high, maybe it is a matter of time or it leads to something else.

Keep in mind where you want to go. Enjoy the journey and keep putting one foot in front of the other. Eventually you’ll get there.
